Illustration with feeling

Stories that feel gentle, curious and alive.

My work is rooted in traditional watercolor and a love of visual storytelling. I am especially drawn to picture books, character-led worlds and illustrations that invite children and adults to slow down, imagine and connect.

Visual storytelling with warmth and character.

This project gave me the opportunity to shape a complete visual world around a published story. My focus was to create illustrations that supported the emotional rhythm of the book while giving the characters a soft, memorable and child-friendly expression.

Original universe

Fabelskoven

An original watercolor universe with woodland characters, stories, conversation-based drawing activities and creative moments for children and adults.

A world designed for stories, creativity and connection.

Fabelskoven is my own evolving universe, created around gentle woodland characters and small moments of imagination. The project brings together character development, storytelling, watercolor illustration and printable creative products.

About

Hello, I’m Tine.

I am a Danish illustrator based in southern Sweden, working primarily with traditional watercolor.

I create gentle, story-led illustrations for children’s books, character projects and imaginative worlds. I am especially interested in projects where atmosphere, emotion and small visual details can help a story come alive.

My process often begins with pencil sketches and character exploration before moving into hand-painted watercolor. I value warmth, personality and a sense of calm in the finished work.
